Call me fickle...

but I am off with a new image. I would like to get back to the English Ivy, and the Magnolia, and tighten them up, perhaps frame them...

But for now, I'd like to explore glass in my cardboard light box. Timothy slept through the shoot, vastly simplifying my work. This is my very favorite brush holder; it's not tipped over even once.

  1. The great joy of not painting for a living is being able to please yourself about what and when you commit time to studying and recording. If you want to paint glass, go for it! It looks so beautifully lit I can see the temptation. And I promise not to call you fickle :>)

  2. Fickle? I think not- it is merely the artist following his or her muse... at least that's what I keep telling myself. Either that or we are reincarnated crows, attracted by anything shiny!

  3. Thanks, Judith. :-) It is exciting to be starting a new piece and glass has been on my mind for a couple of days now.
