Pencil Peanut

Just another little something to sharpen me up. I was all out of seed this morning and felt so bad that I went back out after work for black sunflower and a big bag of peanuts. The squirrels will wake to pounds of peanuts spread all over the yard--a veritable Easter egg hunt! And with all that to keep them busy, it may just keep the feeders free for the birds. :-)

    Wow! This peanut looks like a photo; well done!
    Pounds of peanuts does indeed sound like squirrel heaven- and yet they are such little devils, aren't they?

    Hey, this morning I look out the window to check on the peanut situation and right in front of me is the little red squirrel. He's sitting on a pile of snow so we are eye to eye and he is chattering away, really talking up a storm. I let him go on for some time and when I moved away to grab the camera he flitted off. Absolute cutest little thing! I so wanted to get a movie...
