It's been the first warm and sunny day in some time, a real treat after a long day at work. Walking just a short ways up my road, I was presented with so many creatures made new to the world this Spring.
I love all of these photos but the first one is a stunner! You have captured that bird's wings in motion so beautifully - so delicately and the soft background/shallow depth of field adds an almost magical feel to the whole image. ~ gretchen
Don't tell anyone but that was one lucky shot! I was running through the photos on screen when... Whoa! I really had no idea that I had caught the bird spread-winged. I did know it was bouncing from branch to branch, making it difficult to follow at 320mm.
