Climbing False Buckwheat
This valentine-like photo of Climbing False Buckwheat, Fallopia scandens, has been awaiting an ID since the end of June. After days ago randomly parsing a few pages of my new copy of Summer & Fall Wildflowers of New England by Marilyn J. Dwelly, I fell upon an illustration that immediately clicked.
